Symptoms to Check Whether you Have COVID-19
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization
(WHO) declared Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) a pandemic. COVID-19 is a
respiratory infectious disease caused by the family of coronavirus, if left untreated can lead to the death of a person.
Till date, there is no evidence from where this virus originated, but the first
case of COVID-19 reported in Wuhan, a city in China. So far, there is no treatment or
cure available for this disease.
The person infected with the coronavirus starts
developing the symptoms between 2 and 14 days. This period is called an
incubation period (time from exposure of the virus to the development of
symptoms in an infected person). The reported illnesses vary from the range of
people of different age groups with mild symptoms to severely ill and then death in some cases.
1. Fever
2. Tiredness
3. Dry Cough
4. Shortness of breath
5. Aches and pains
6. Sore throat
7. In rare cases, diarrhea, nausea or a runny nose.
